| 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament Sign up now to golf, either with your foursome team or as an individual player. Come out and support Chapter 84 and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation! Chapter 84 and Others, This year we've set aside a number of events to give back to the community, to include a Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). SOWF provides scholarship grants to surviving children of special operations personnel killed in combat or training missions and works in coordination with SOCOM to address the needs of special operations personnel wounded in the war on terror (www.specialops.org). Date is 15 May 08 and the location is the Sewells Point Golf Course. We're also working with the Hampton VA Hospital to invite wounded warriors who are outpatients at the hospital to play with participating teams. Check to see if your company would be willing to sponsor a wounded warrior or include one on your company team. Please let us know as soon as possible, if they can. This can be a great community highlight for your company's monthly report at very reasonable prices. Oh by the way, if they have trade show give-aways, such as golf balls, that they'd like to add to our gift bags, feel free to convince them of the benefit of having 125 folks see their logo for free. Again, the date is 15 May 08 at the Sewells Point Golf Course. Help make a difference for a child that has lost a military parent or a warrior recovering from wounds sustained in the defense of freedom. Please pass the word! Thanks!
